can view but cant edit/burn

I have some videos I am able to view, but I cant import them to showbiz dvd or windows movie maker

the filename is
athf.101.escape.abn

edit: got it...needed to install xvid codec...duh

Maybe you haven’t installed the xvid codec yet?
So you need to do that,and then it can work.
