avi file not playing - help please!

Hi,

Can anyone help? I’ve recently downloaded an .avi file via mtorrent and am having trouble playing it. I can open the file with VLC player but can only play 18 seconds before it freezes. VLC only seems to recognise the file as being 19 seconds long, even though I watched it download and am certain that the file is 750mb in size.

Any idea what’s going wrong?
