The same thing is happening to me!!!! How to solve this problem????????????????????????????????????????
Hooray Bongos fix for importing avi video into Windows Movie Maker worked.
Converted .mov file to .avi using Free software called Pazera (downloaded from cnet)
Checked all codecs were installed using Gspot (although thinking about it not sure it made any difference)
Then check FDD show video decoder in Tools - Options - Compatability - Check FDD decoder
Imported into WMM and hey presto no message about codecs.
Question is - will it work a second time?
Thanks,
Bongos
I have installed both Windows Movie Maker 2.6 and Windows Movie Maker 6 on my Windows 7. So you can run both veisorns side by side on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. But 2.6 and 6 does not work at all on Windows XP. Andrea Borman.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!Any additional rercod editing software doesn t have the things I need, WMM is the best, but the quality sucks With the 6.0 I can make HD videos, and that s a veeery excellent thing.. Once again, thanks
I downloaded the codec from bongos post but I’m still getting the audio only when I put it into the timeline. I have an xp pc that works but it won’t work for vista for some reason.... What can I do? I can play the video outside movie maker just fine btw.
Ok so I downloaded the Codec and was able to get my video into Windows Movie Maker, but all I hear is the audio from the video. How can I see it!?
