Audio, but no video on .mpeg files

When I play .mpeg files on my computer in Windows Media Player 9, I get audio, but no video (just a black screen). Can anyone help me out here?

I’m having the same problem. I downloaded a movie that plays audio but no video. I don’t know how to locate what codec it is to fix the problem though.
