Ok on jusy about EVERY video I try to play, it’ll play for a minute or 2 and then turn to a green screen and just play sound...the only way to get the green screen of is to refresh, but then it’ll just pop right back up

Very Very Very Very irritating...please tell me which codec to install...(or uninstall?) to make this go away

it does this with every video player I have, and on websites.

Before you start playing the file first find out what type of avi and for this open the file with GSpot or Avicodec and both are video analyzers and Avicodec give you a link for downloading codecs video or audio. It’s good to have some players like VLC (videolan) and BSplayer also any codec pack you like DivX and Xvid, I use All in One.For sound AC3 filter is a first choice. All from above are here: http://www.free-codecs.com/ If your file plays ok sound and picture you may convert it to svcd or dvd and for this you need a video converter like Win Avi or Cucusoft or Boilsoft or VSO DivX to DVD or MainConcept H264 or DVD Santa. From VSO version 0.5 is still a freeware just Google for and download the one you like.
