--Where to download video codecs?

What editing program are you using? What codec is the avi you produced in (and what did you use to make it)?

If you’re saying you can’t convert from VOB to AVI, then you can try either VirtualDub-MPEG-2 (http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable) or FlaskMPEG (http://flaskmpeg.sourceforge.net)

Thanks took 10 minutes to fix the problem now I can do what I want with Windows movie maker. Thanks Big Foot

I recommend using some free open source apps. They are always updated and do the trick!

i’ve just downloaded utorrent and ive been downloading videos. i know VLC should work with 98% of all videos you come across but not the ones that are torrents. I know i need to dwl a codec i just dont know which one... if there is even more than 1. I cant see the video but can hear all sounds perfectly.. if you’ve got an answer please e-mail me

Codec is the component that is responsable on the ziping and unziping your audio or movie file.
