HS Guest | I tried this converter:
http://www.allformp3.com/ram-mp3-recorder/ram-mp3-recorder.htm
It worked beautifully - but only free for 60 secs of conversion, otherwise you need to pay US$30 for the real thing.

TSC Guest | I have been struggling to find out how to download these stupid .ram files to my hard disk but none of the above methods work, or anything else for that matter. Isn’t there some program I can download to save real media files directly? Surely some kind soul out there must have created such a free program???????!!!!!!

road_runner Guest | usually real player downloads the stream into a tempfile on your hard disk try looking there first it’ll be something like this:
“C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files” try looking forthe files there other wise try the other method in which what ever you want to save onto your hdd just simply right click on the file inthe web page and then click on save target as...,and you’re done
I hope this works for ya

road_runner Guest | An easier way to grab the file which contains the .rm (.ram) is to right click on the link and go to
properties”.
From this, you will know the URL which sources the file.
Copy and past the URL into a new web browser window. This automatically starts downloading the file to the temporary internet folder. Go to your temp folder. An easy way of doing this is click on the Start button and go to “Search - For files and folders” and do a search for “temporary”. You will know when you see the folder. The file would be downloaded to this folder.
Next highlight, copy and paste the file onto your desktop for ease of reference. Then I recommend you buy/get from a friend Boilsoft software, which can be used to covert the file to .mp3 or .wav.
Hope this helps - for those who don’t want to use the notepad method.
