I purchased a portable MP4 player and it says in the “File Support” section of the technical specification: “encoding MPEG4 AVI formats”
I am wondering then what types of files it will be able to play? I assume it can play AVI files, but are there any other file types it can play? If so, could you please give the file types and what their file extension is?
Thank you for any assistance you can give. I know absolutely nothing about this sort of stuff so I am very stuck!

labish Guest | Better if you tell us the model of your player.Here you have some of the MP4 players and if you look at the specs of each of them you can see what they do and what type of files is working with.Google your MP4 player and check the manufacturer’s web site or just read the user’s manual.http://www.globalsources.com/manufacturers/MP4-Player.html
