Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 12 Aug 2005 Posts: 2 OFFLINE | hey i wondering if anyone can help me because i had a Sandisk 512MB MP3 Player for about 3 weeks now and it has working fine until like a couple of minutes ago when i tried playing my music and it said: Don’t Booting, Can Not Start and it shuts off. i have tried replacing the battery but that didn’t work and i made sure i had my files on the mp3 player still by hooking it up to my computer through USB and it has all of my music files still but when i go to play it it gives me that message and shuts off. has anyone had that problem? please help me. | |

vdvmv Guest | I had the same problem after dropping my 256MB player in the sink (the player doesn’t seem to like being submerged underwater...go figure). After letting it dry out overnight, I reloaded the firmware through the USB connection with my PC and the player is working like a champ now.
You can get the firmware and instructions for installing it on the player from the sandisk.com website -
