ferenc8 Guest | So there are lots of posts for GTA SA. Not sure where to put this post as it might go unnoticed under the other GTA SA posts. Anyway here goes...
Hoodlum version I downloaded. There was a problem with the release etc. From Game burn/copy world I downloaded the fix for it. I am having difficulty understanding it. Could someone please explain....
The instructions are:
Install:
1. Unrar.
2. Replace gta_sa.exe with our fixed.
3. Open gta_sa.reg with a Text-editor
4. Replace the String 'Documents and Settings' with the one on your system
language.
5. Run gta_sa.reg.
6. You may need to restart your machine.
7. Fire up the game.
I don’t understand step 4.
I have opened gta_sa.reg in a text document which is as follows:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]
“Gtasasav”=“C:\\Documents and Settings\\Gtasasav”
Which part of this do I need to change? Do I need to go into my registry?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Guido Guest | If you want the fix to work READ THE INFO! YOU HAVE TO CREATE AN EMPTY DIRECTORY NAMED “GTASASAV” IN
C:\Documents and Settings
READ THE INFO!!!
