Playback corruption in MPEG & AVI

HELP!!!!

Whenever I play any AVI or MPEG the colors are all wrong, way overdone. I also had trouble playing dvds, but since I bought the WinDVD decoder for WMP, they play back fine.

I have removed all of the codecs in my system through control panel and from the Klite codec pack. I’ve removed and reinstalled my Nvidia drivers and pulled out my ATI Capture card. Nothing helps! I’ve tried every codec pack I could find and still nothing.

WTF?! Any help is MOST appreciated as I don’t want to reload if I can help it.

It was the Nvidia 77.72 drivers! Found the answer in this thread..

71.89 works perfectly with my 5750 Ultra
