Got an issue with my new PC build. Running an Nvidia 6800GT, latest drivers. Games run great.

Try to play an AVI in Media Player 10 or a DVD in PowerDvd5 and the video is “washed out”. Can’t explain it, just no contrast, slightly wierd colors.

Can anyone point me the right direction to fix this?

Found the answer to my problem in another post:

" Ok, this is what you must do

Go to the Nvidia options panel
Go to Color Correction
Set the 'Apply color changes to:' on 'All' instead of 'Desktop' "
