Sound but no Video

Hello, just recently most of my movie’s on my computer that worked before, stopped producing video (there is still sound). Some of my movies are trying to download a codec but fail (they never needed to do that before). I tried reinstalling my codec that I had in the whole time and it had errors through out the installation (it never did that before). Is there maybe some setting that was changed or a program I installed changed something? Please help me!

I just downloaded a kazaalite video codec (the newest one, “klcodec220f.exe” and it solved everything. The only problem it had was it couldn’t overwrite the file “divxa32.acm”, but it doesn’t seem to mater. The codec comes with what seems to be every format. It is good!

The file you downloaded is infact a Codec Pack (just a collection of (mostly) freely available codecs). Not ALL codec packs are good, but out of all of them, the one you’ve got now would be the BEST. However, the collection of codecs that the Kazaa Lite codec pack comes with is not anywhere near all the codecs etc available.
