RY-MAN Guest | If you have avi or mpeg files, Nero has a program choice called Nero Vision. You just add video files
to the make a DVD and it converts the files to a NTSC format and Pal too I think. I download avi movies and turn them into DVD’s. Pretty easy since I’m no video professional.

ademkiv Guest | "Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD” lets you edit and convert MPEG files without any quality loss!!! It does it by rendering only parts of the video that were actually edited, everything else is just streamed to DVD.
I just installed this software yesterday and made a sample 10 minute DVD using three MPEG-2 videos from my Sony DCR-SR200. I only added a title and some transitions. Rendering took only 1 minute and quality is great. Much better than Vegas and Ulead!

What unpredictable results are we speaking of?
Also, I’m using VOB2MPG and it only took under 5 minutes for a full DVD-5 Disc (4.7G I can’t imagine it’s doing anything special. Is it doing anything at all other than just renaming and copying the VOB files to a new location on my HDD?
