Jill Evans Guest | Completely new to this. Copied 36 minute Camcorder video onto DVD-R via TV/DVD Recorder as no direct PC connection. After finalising, disc is now playable on Mac OSX via and Windows XP via Nero. Need to edit files on either computer. When I open disc Folder VIDEO_TS contains, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB, VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_1.VOB (1023 M VTS_01_2.VOB (194 M. Can’t drag or import these into either iMovie (Mac) or Nero Vision (PC). Read lots of topics in this forum and assume I have to convert these files to AVI in order to edit the film??? I have downloaded Win AVI_Video_Converter.exe, DVD Decrypter_3.5.4.0.exe, AutoGordianKnot.,1,96.setup.exe and dvdzip,exe to try on PC at home tonight as none of these are Mac compatible. Is this correct??? Any hints, tips, help you lot can give me will be greatly appreciated. Just celebrated my 57th Birthday so a bit ancient to be starting down this road!
