qball Guest | Hi,
You’d be able to demux the “Russian layer” from the video only if it were a separate audio stream from the English audio stream. If the audio is only ONE stream then you’re shite out of luck, my friend.
You can use VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod for this task.
1. Select “File->>Open video file” to load your movie.
2. Select “Video->>Direct stream copy”.
3. Then select “Streams->>Stream list” to view all the streams contained in your file. You’ll see either one or two audio streams and, in some cases, a subtitle stream.
4. IF the audio are in fact 2 different streams, then demux the undesired audio and save the video file by selecting “Save As” and making sure your Video Mode is set on “Direct stream copy”. Press “OK”.
That should be it. Hope it works out for you.

Wow...this is an old thread.
Anyways, if you look run VirtualDubMod and look at the top menu toolbar, you’ll find “Streams” as the fourth menu item from the left.
The rest should be self-explanatory from there.
Good luck. | |

keebob Guest | Hello,
I have the same problem as BenZ. The only different thing is, my file aren’t divx instead wmv. And as you all know, VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod doesn’t open a wmv file.
So anyone has a solution for this?
