DVD BURNING

I got married in India, and my wedding DVD (structure is VIDEO_TS) complains to play in my new SONY SLV-D251P combo player. So here are the steps I did to burn the content on to another DVD+RW, making sure that the region code is 1. Using DVDDecrypter and ImgToolBurn(its api depends on Nero, which I have), I have burnt the VIDEO_TS structure on to the new DVD. Patched the region to US(1) using DVDdecrypter.

But still no help, the SONY dvd/vhs combo player still cries and gives the following 2 messages.
1. the disc format cannot be played.
2. prohibited by area limitations.

I checked time and time again to make sure that the region code is 1 on the newly burned DVD, and fyi.. it does play on the comp except the player. Can somebody let me know what is going wrong, is my DVDPlayer at fault ??. I appreciate your reading this message.
