Hi there, I downloaded a AVI movie and when I played it using DixV player, it says the format is not “a valid AVI or MPEG-4” format. I could not play this clip with RealPlayer and Windows Media Player either. Please help. Thanks. TZ

Download Avicodec and GSpot.Both are video analyzers and open your avi with one of them and find out what type of avi you deal with.If is a Xvid format you need a Xvid codec and players like VLC or BSplayer.I understand you install allready a DivX pack.Here is a link and a lite codecs pack is All in One.It’s good to have it besides Xvid pack.http://www.free-codecs.com/ Here is another analyzer from a different site: http://www.afreecodec.com/afreecodecvt.php
