I recently ran a batch job in virtual dub (1.5.10) using the same settings for each movie to split some(13) divx movies into two files. The sound on 7 of the 2nd movie halfs is offset ahead of the movie by about 8.1 seconds. It’s like the 8.1 seconds was chopped off and the rest of the sound moved forward 8.1 seconds. having them start at the same time. appending the file back together yields smoothe video with a blip in the sound and then the sound leads as the second half starts. Does anyone know if this is a bug in virtual dub? Or of a way to fix them instead of by hand editing.

unfortunately, having no problems before, I deleted most of the original files after the batch had run and didn’t notice the error untill after.

I did however have 2 of the original divx movies. Splitting them one by one(no batch job)with the same settings doesn’t cause any errors.
