all videos stopped playing

I’ve lost video on all my files, and now only have audio. I have the correct codecs, I’ve verified this with Gspot. I’ve tried reinstalling codecs, and installing new codec packages after unistalling old ones. I’ve also tried multiple players. I’ve ensured that I have the latest directX. None of this has worked. I still have no video despite having the correct codecs.

Any suggestions?

if you’re using the “latest” nvidia drivers from a couple of weeks ago, try reverting back to earlier ones. I had this happen after I installed BF2, and I had to revert to earlier drivers to get it to stop, which it did.
