WMV, MPG, MPEG and ASF playback problem

Two days ago i played an mpg video and i watched it just fine. The next day i played the same mpg and the colors are all messed up, too brighten.
The same thing happens with wmv, mpeg and asf videos.
Is there a way to configure this codecs to adjust brightness or gamma correction?.
