Also, if its at 99% and it won’t download the rest of the way, every bittorrent client has a “preview” butten. Just press that and you can watch it. you’ll miss like one name in the credits or something, no biggy.

OK, we’ve all been newbies at some point but some of these questions have been repeated far too many times.
Yes, .bc! is an extension used by BitComet and BitLord to indicate that the download is incomplete (even if it says 100%)
Yes, you can delete the .bc! extension and expect it to play for SOME file formats. For example, MPG is more forgiving than AVI and I doubt ISO or BIN are forgiving in the slightest.
If your download says 99 or 100% but won’t get rid of the .bc!, ty stopping and restarting the download. I’ve found that, on occassion, the download will not quite finish and you have to REMIND it to do its thing.

I made a movie using Cannon Digital Camera. Its extension is .AVI
The movie can not be played in Windows Media Player and the Quick time player asks for its conversion before playing.
What to do ?

hi, im just wondering about how to open an unfinished torrent? i realise thats what everybody wants to know, but i have looked around and cant find any of the suggestions that work.
im using a mac, and am downloading a whole series through one torrent file. i can see that 11 out of the 19 episodes are completely finished but they wont play on any of my media players. Im using a mac, so ive tried quicktime, realplayer and vlc.
ive also tried changing the name, copy pasting to a different folder etc, and to no avail.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance.

people who said that by removing the bc! extension will make the incomplete file viewable is a complete moron. there is no codec good enough to play an incomplete files. maybe if the incomplete files is about 99% finished then try using the Bitcomet program to play the files or just wait till u finish dling. those who said u can change the file name just want to make u dling the files from 0% again. coz renaming corrupt the files. i recommend copy the files to somewhere else and renaming the copied file leaving the original file intact.
