Guys, You are using BitComet; the file isn’t compelete. Thus, Bitcomet puts the .bc! at the end of the file. file.mp4.bc! is an incomplete Bitcomet download. When done, the file will become file.mp4. No amount of Divx or changing folder views (wow, smart knowit all condescending cunty cocksuckers recommending that one) to change the file name will change the fact that the file is incomplete. And who the fuck uses 'newbie' anymore? Assholes who dont know shit. Got mirror?

heres the deali-o i had the same problem , finished d/l movie in bitlord and all the files came up as .bc!, i re-opened the task in bitlord “task complete” or whatever it said, went back to download folder and it must have completed the other 1% because they all changed to RAR files, sweet - try to download the same thing again, might fix it!

Looks like bc! is used by bit comet when a file is incomplete while it is downloading.

It can’t be renamed because it is most likely in use by bit comet.

Once the download is finished BC will automatically remove the extension.

Why does no one try to read what others have posted. Why do all of you keep asking the same question again and again. The correct replies have already been posted at least 30 times in this 75 posts thread. Now if someone again asks the same question, I think I will have to come over and tell the answer while fucking their ass...

BitComet Incomplete Download
BitComet is a p2p file-sharing program fully compatible with Bittorrent. The .BC! extension is an incomplete download and you should not try to open this file. This also applies to BitLord. When the download is complete the .BC! extension should change to whatever the correct file extension should be for the complete download.

I did delete the .BC! and the file will play but it is fragmented. It will skip mins ahead and if you try and place it inbetween the tiems of the skip it just skips ahead again. So changing deleting the file extention didn’t work

.bc is added by the program bitcomet (torrent sharing), if it has this tag it means its incomplete and being able to open it is no guarentee it will work. You will have to finish downloading the file for it to work, if the file is between 80-100% you can usualy prievew it with a normal media player but again theres no guarantee it will play normaly.
