It’s a unfinished download.

No, it’s a bit torrent file. Just delete the bc! bit and open it in your player - it’s likely to be in divx format so you’ll need that codec...

if u can get the program called VLC media player, it plays just about any movie file, but it seems to have trouble with audio only files.

BitComet is a torrent client and for an incomplete file is going to put a bc! at the end of an unfinished download. Also give you a chance to check or uncheck any file from your download so start again and check only file with bc! and download is going to be complete. If you start downloading with BitComet and stopped the download don’t start with another BT client is going to mix the files.

avi.bc! means its a incomplete BitTorrent file.

For example, I was downloading a file using BitLord. I thought the download was complete, so I went to open the file. When I looked at the file, it had an avi.bc! extension. I removed the .bc! part of the file name and tried to open it in Wndows Media Player. It wouldn’t play. When I rechecked BitLord, I discovered that the file was only 99% complete.

you can also check with the preview option while downloading with bitcomet..therefore it shows before viewing what percentage of the movie//episode is actualy complete

Use windows prompt.

Go to the directory the file is located.

type: copy XXX.avi.bc! XXX.avi

then hit enter.

XXX stands for the title of your file.

I just did it 2 minutes ago and it worked for me.

Good luck

just rename .avi.bc to .avi.
why don’t you finished downloading the file? the .bc will disappear if you finished it or is it one of those 99% problem?
and run the avi through divxfixer or similair program if you have problem watching it.

Yes I know, but try it a few times. Make sure your in the directory where the file is located and don’t use to large names for your file. So rename it and try again.

It took me a few times

It took me also a few times. But it worked.
