doulbe layer!!!

hey,i wanted to burn some scrubs episodes to one DVD so i bought a double layer DVD.the problem is when i want to burn it the DVD writer says"cannot perfom disc-at-once,which i cannot switch off,and it also says “illegal disc”.
my DVD writer supports DVD double layer writing,that’s for sure,and yeah,i use nero.can anyone help?!?!?!
