I have been using DVD cloner 2 and DVDX Copy with good success. I have one problem: How do you copy a backup copy without going through the whole ripping process again?

When I try to copy a backup I get read or burn errors

I am using Nero 6 and or Roxio (Can’t recall #, but newest version)

If you make a copy first time and burn it with Nero, before exit Nero ask you if you want to save the project so save it and next time you make another copy the time is going to be shorter. For back up dvd’s I use 1 Click DVD Copy and Any DVD install to pass any protection.Another combination si DVDFab and DVD Idle.Using Clone DVD2 is ok but 1 click is compressing the dvd in order to match a dvd5 if need it.Google all this and play with.Clone dvd 2 is doing a compressing too but I got a freezing dvd.

My mistake I meant DVDX.At least try something new much faster and better quality.TMPEGEnc was one of the first converter I like but converting time take a life since than came out a lot of new converters with a faster converting fps up to 80 so from 6 hours converting we are now at about 30 min.Same with burning software.Nero is the only one that update very often because of new media bugs and so on, the other once in a blue moon. For example Roxio version 7 one or two updates same old stuff 7.5 one update and now version 8.0.Can you upgrade all these version on your budget? In my opinion is just a principle how much you want something new.

I don’t care if new or old, just want to be able to make copy of a copy

I have been using “Disc copy” to try and copy, is there a better method?

Why cover ur face with a woman thong? Just spit out what is on ur mind instead of acting like a sloopy fag? If U have problems making backup copy of some hard nut cracking DVD, then U r facing the dilemma of Sony encryption called ArCoSS. But now Sony has came up with another new encryption called puppetlock. When these 2 combined, then its screwed. Spanglish had both of these encryption.

Your humor is neither interesting nor appreciated

I have no problem “ripping” DVDs no matter the prorgam or movie

The problem is copying the ripped DVD

IF you don’t understand my question, please don’t bother to reply with your sad attempts at sarcasm

May I don’t understand ur question or either just plain hot n need some chilling. DVD Cloner 2 & DVD X Copy come with a invisible build in watermark. Both of this application could only do back-up once. If U want 2 do alot of DVD back-up then U’ll need DVD Shrink. That’s the answer & I hope U appreciate it.

Thank you for adressing the actual question, most helpful

Topsy, you have answered my question as to “why," thank you

Any way to use DVD Shrink with DVD cloner, or how do I go about using Shrink to copy a protected DVD then making copies after?

If U want 2 make more copies after that dvd shrink has done it job, U just burn it with nero in multiple mode. Dvd shrink can’t go about cracking sony encrytion. On the other hand, dvd decrypter can (only ArCoSS) but not the recently sony puppetlock encryption.

I’m new to this

Does DVD Shrink copy encrtpted movies in one step? Do I download program, insert “rented” DVD and copy?

I have no idea what DVD Shrink is or how it works

i have a problem. i am trying to copy a dvd made in region 2 and i used dvd shrink and then dvd decypter.i also want to say it is not the first time i am useing this combination and i did not really had problems with it. this dvd is a movie made by my family back in europe on vhs and then transformed into dvd. the process starts good and i can go till the end with the dvd shrink(it is succesfully encrypted) but then when dvd decrypter starts to copy it it is giveing me an error all the time.
does enybody knows why?and what should i do.
i can watch the orriginal dvd on my pc but i would really like to watch it on the tv

I use DVD decrypter, close out when done. then I use DVD shrink 3.2 Works great however...I have not been able to do Spanglish either and today I have tried State Of The Union. Can’t get that either. What other program works for the new blocks?
