willywanker Guest | A RAR sequence always starts with .rar, .r00, .r01, .r02 ....etc. U can try WinRAR altho i doubt it’ll open as it’ll ask to state the location of files starting with .rar
My guess is that what u have is only part of a sequence and not the whole. Still if there are a number of files in the r00 file u have (even though it’s part of a sequence), maybe u can can extract only the complete file/s in it and not all. Just try.
Cheers !

May Help Guest | Use Winrar to extract your files, ensure that they are all in one folder, it should extract them as .img files then just rename the type of file to an .iso file, you should now be able to use Nero to burn to disc

Thanks 4 The Help Guest | i have .r00 to .r64
I am not sure what to do.
Each of these files are the same size, when extracting them to the same folder it asks if I would like to overwrite the files. I have been trying to figure this out all day, thanks for the help.

danielsan Guest | I’ve read over all the previous posts and have gotten to the point where the files have been “Extract To..." in WinRAR, which successfully created one file. The problem is that when I go to play the movie, I can only get sound but no visual. Others who’ve downloaded this torrent report that it’s of good movie quality, etc. so I’m feeling that maybe I’ve done something wrong... ANY IDEAS? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Faxtor Guest | How can I view these .r00, .r01, .rar files?
Those files are actually multi-volume RAR archives. Each part of the archive has a separate
extension, with .rar being the first. So, for example, a 5-part archive called clip would
consist of: clip.rar, clip.r00, clip.r01, clip.r02 and clip.r03
RAR is an archiving program similar in concept to WinZIP, so the archives could (in theory)
contain pretty much anything. On a.b.p.j-g, they’re almost certain to contain an AVI (or MPEG)
video clip.
Now to the nitty-gritty.
PC users should get the “WinRAR” program from http://www.rarlabs.com/
Next, make sure you’ve got all the parts of the archive, saved as separate files, in the same
folder. For a 5-part archive, you should have .rar, .r00, .r01, .r02 and .r03.
To unpack the archive, feed the .rar file to WinRAR. This will automatically process all the
other parts, resulting in a decoded AVI (or MPEG) file.

Faxtor Guest | If you’e only getting sound and no picture, you’re probably missing the codec it needs for that viewer. I had this problem with QuickTime for Windows, and it wanted me to buy a codec to be able to play it right. Being a cheap guy, I defered to Windows Media Player (11), and I got the whole thing working...sound and picture. Hope that works for you.

Builder Guest | I’ve downloaded some RAR, r00, r01, r02 etc files with torrent:
http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4475/psyl9.jpg
But when i open the RAR file, it looks like this:
http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/2584/ps2cf4.jpg
and it isn’t a proper file so i can’t extract it. I’ve opened the RAR file with VLC media player, but it only plays the first part of the RAR. It doesn’t play the next ones.
How do i get the player to play the whole thing? every .r00, r01 file...instead of stopping after the RAR file
