When you convert it are you trying to change the aspect ratio? You should leave them to auto and in the advance button-encode tab make sure everything is set at auto. Win AVI converter is a fantastic program just is too slow for previewing you’re Video output.

You’re AVI Movie is only 700mb and thats all, so winavi Converter will convert it to 1.8 gb because that is all of the movie you have. You will, more than likely, have to use another program to stretch the movie out to make it 4.3gb, but why would you want to do that? burn it to dvd and be happy with it. The quality is ok isn’t it? if not you can use DVD shrink to stretch it I think.
Winavi is a converter only, one format to another.burn it to DVD then open the DVD in DVD Shrink and stretch it, Then burn to new disc or save to file.

Buy the Product is the only way you can get rid of the Pesky Nag across the front. You only have the trial Version and it will nag you til you buy. It only cost $29.95 I think, so buy and enjoy. Works fantastic. Great Program for Conversions.

If you use v7.6 you can convert all files to DVD once time.After you select files,you may need to choose “Merge into one DVD”,then burn converted file(VIDEO_TS) to DVD.That’s OK.

How large about your file?
Maybe can select “constant video size”.

Try d/ling a prog called G-Spot,from here : http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/index.htm
It is used to check the type of encoding used on your movie files, and if you have the proper Codecs to read the file, etc;
