NYBelle Guest | I’m sure this has been discussed before, but I’ve read the last few threads and found nothing. Thanks for bearing with me.
I have some movies which I downloaded, legally, believe it or not, from cinemanow.com. (I know, the site sucks. I got a couple of gift certs to use there, so I did.)
They’re in wmv format. I’d like to burn them to dvd to play on a regular dvd player.
The programs I’ve tried:
WinAvi Video Converter - error “Cannot render the graph, make sure the file can be played in WMP”. Needless to say it CAN be played in WMP.
Super DVD Creator - odd error about missing some codec.
My WMP version is 10.
I also have 1click, dvd shrink, dvd for free.
Any tips? Thanks!

belle Guest | You mean converting wmv is different from converting avi and all the other formats?? What’s unique about wmv?

TopsyTurvy Guest | U can convert WMV 2 VOB if u have the time 2 do it. 1st of all u need winavi video converter 2 convert wmv 2 avi n avi 2 dvd. I have posted the serial no: of winavi 6.3 in here..so just check it it out.

belle Guest | Thank TT, I got the serial. I’ve tried it with WinAVI converter, but I get the same error about rendering the graph...Do you think it could some missing codec? I can play the movie in wmp without a problem..

TopsyTurvy Guest | Some wmv need license 2 watch n left alone 2 convert. So in ur case, I guess it d drm dat is causing d error. Apart from wmp, wimamp could also rendered wmv.
