bria_ferguson Guest | I had the same problem — and following your post (thank you very much) I got the codec — but still can’t play anything...is there a second step to get it to work with Windows Media Player? Thanks!

Ciz Guest | No second step that I know off. I just ran it and I had sound(windows media player)... are you sure that it is the tag 2000 codec you need...
Other than that I am lost.
Sorry.

tryinnnahelp Guest | about bria_ferguson’s problem...maybe what you need is either the DivX, or the XVid video codec, which are the most used video codecs there are. Once you install them, you can view most of the AVI files...hope you can get that. Please write at: luisvictor79@hotmail.com to let me know if your problem was solved. Cheers.

ciz Guest | I am glad that for once people are going to a message board anf getting a link that works and doesn’t lead to a search engine. (one of my massive hates about the internet, so to all you webmatsters that do that a BIG FUCK OFF)
to the rest of you, happy surfing

deannatrois Guest | thank u so so much.., like others.., been looking for this darned thing for a while. Just installed it to my DIVX codec (which obviously didn’t include it) .., and the file played on DVX player.
Will include a post in Torrent Yahoo talk about this solution, if that’s ok with u. I know it comes up and people usually just get told to download the AC3 filter, which doesn’t solve the problem.
