Ch78 Guest | Hi everyone,
I’m kinda stuck in this problem, I got WMP installed on my computer and some of the movies I got require a license to play. I purchased the license (unlimited play) and have the license backed up in My documents folder. Well, as I usually backup my computer, I always make a Ghost image (I use Norton Ghost to backup and restore my computer) whenever I got a license to a new movie. The problem is that I want to share this license to my notebook (so I don’t have to go to my PC to play the movie, which is impossible when I’m on mission abroad) but I don’t know how to. My friend said that I can use the Ghost image I already have on my PC and restore that image on my notebook, but as far as I know, a Ghost image of windowxp wouldn’t work on another computer with different hardware if you don’t later use the Window XP setup disc and repair that window. So I wonder if I now do so and then put in the Window XP setup disc on my notebook and choose the REPAIR option, would I be able to repair and make Window XP (from the Ghost image) works on my notebook while retaining the WMP license?
Any IT pro can help me with this?
