CloneDVD2 won't pick up dvd+r in drive

I’ve been trying to burn existing dvd files onto a dvd+r. Unfortunately, the program keeps telling me to insert a disk when there already is one there. Any thoughts?

I guess you have an XP with SP2 install.Try a blank disc and no program just put one in your burner and close it and wait for windows to show you something about a blank dvd or cd.If is not a Windows problem is a burner problem.I had this on my piece of junk Plextor 708A and started working only after I update the firmware for the burner about 3 times and after that the famous burner found only cd and no DVD’s.But maybe your problem is different.If you have a different OS try to update it and find out on manufacturer site of your burner if is a new firmware available.Playing with the firmware is not an easy job so ask for help or if you think you can do it update the firmware.If you want check this site on forum and look for your burner sub-forum :http://club.cdfreaks.com/
