your audio codec works but you need a video codec - thats if the file is not corrupted - there are details of codec packs throughout the forums

Don’t touch the codec paks. Get Gspot. Drop the video file on it. It will tell you whether the file is ok, or if you just need a filter that you haven’t got. Then JUST GET WHAT YOU NEED. Not an entire zoo of extras you will never touch.

luck.

Two things, firstly that copy of Gspot is ancient, but still works. You, as is usual formost people, have 3 codecs/filters to use to decode Divx type files. Secondly, you didn’t hit the 'render' button,so I can’t actually see what is up with the render, (ie; play the file in Gspot.)
I would do two things, first install an AC3-ACM filter, so win can use it, and also use AC3 Filter, unregister and delete the alternates. Then for the vid filters, clean it up, figure out which codec/filter you would like to use for what file type, and set it up that way so Windows has an idea what to do with the file. You’ll see Gspot use a bunch of diff. filters to render the file. You can right click on the individual Render and then render that alone, see which filter gives you the best quality.

Luck.
