Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 02 Jan 2004 Posts: 5 OFFLINE | i converted this avi file with tmpgenc to mpeg2(svcd). when i played it, there’s is only the audio but no video the is pink and messed up.i dont know why can u help me?

Regular Rep: 0 Joined: 14 Nov 2003 Posts: 615 OFFLINE | What’s the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader set to? Set it to 4 - Option>Environmental setting>VFAPI plug-in and raise 'DirectShow Multimedia File Reader' to 4.
What codecs or codec packs are installed?
Be sure to do a test and encode only a small part of the movie, this will save the hassle of having to do it all over again if it’s messed up. Also don’t do anything while encoding’s taking place - turn off the screensaver and all other unnecessary processes. | |

sayed Guest | i forgot to mention that my tmpgenc can’t convert mpeg file to mpeg2 file, i mean it does convert it but the same thing happens only the audio is correct but the video is messed and pink. so right now i ve set the directshow bla..bla to 4 and converting the file so lets see what happens.

acn Guest | the video i have plays in the all my players,but the screen is gree, and the auio is just fine,just like its supposed to be.but the video is green.anyone know what i can do?
