Sound Codec

Hi, this is my first time trying to download a movie and watch it. I needed to install IMC.XVID codec.
I can see the pic with no sound. could anyone advise me what to do.

I need the IMC.XVID codec because when i play a certain movie it has sound but NO picture!
Please Can anyone help?

Use a program such as gspot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot) or avicodec (http://avicodec.duby.info) to find out which audio codec you’re missing. Pay attention to the tag number, and search for it in our audio codec board.
