hello, i have video files from an older pc, which i transfered over to a second HD in order to transfer them into my new HD which i reinstalled Xp on. after reinstalling and transfering, i tried to load them into all/any video players i had (and could think of), which all of them locked up after attempting to load the file. i later ran gspot and videoinspector to find out what codecs i was missing, and found out i have them all and didnt need to download any (or so those programs told me). i also burned a few to cd to see if the files were corrupted or something, but they play fine on others pc’s. any advice or help would be much appreciated. one thing i was wondering is if maybe an error in the installation of xp-pro could be a problem? thanks in advance.
