HELP...NEW....How to burn movie to DVD/Won't play on PowerDVD or DVD Player!!

I have Nero 6 Ultra, DivX to DVD, I converted the movie, I have Video_TS file. Tried to burn it and it will not play on anything! Can someone help me figure this out...I have read manuals but am totally confused with all this! Multisession?? UDF??? Etc.....Any help would be so appreciated! I have read so much now that I am more confused than ever...don’t want to do anything that will screw up my computer! Also, I have a Dell Dim 4700 with XP, Phillips DVD+-RWDVD8631, Samsung DVD-Rom SD616E..have applied new firmware( I believe) HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
