Finding an mpeg's codec info

Hi!

I installed a codec pack but I still can’t play some .mpg files. Is there a software which can find codec information from an mpeg file?

note: gspot only reports internal info about mpeg files in versions 2.5 or later (as of this writing version 2.52 is still in beta)
