Motu Guest | Anyone have a fix for the Radeon cards? I’m having the same problem....

Motu Guest | I fixed my Radeon problem:
I simply upgraded from WMP9 to WMP10.
Also, I read somewhere else that you can fix the problem by turning off video acceleration in the “performance” tab in options.
Good luck!

Pep Guest | Hey guys I’m so frustrated I have the same problem with colors when watching videos but I can’t fix it.
I’ve tried to do what ghaz said but I have a problem: I just can’t find the color correction screen! No kidding I’m serious I can’t find it. Maybe I have a different version from you all but I don’t think so, mine’s 105.32.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanx.

Terry Kaplan Guest | OK Here is the deal. I just installed the 93.xx drivers from nvidia and all my colors were crap on my videos. I went back to Nvidias site and downloaded from the archive the 91.xx drivers which is the one just prior to the newest launch. Once I installed those everything works again. Hope this helps

Ravefiend Guest | Even up to now, this has proven to be a big succes! I had the same problem on my laptop which has a NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 32M/64M. None of my Xvid movies would play on it using the 97.92 drivers, until I applied this suggestion :-)

Hinney Guest | I also had the problem with colours being washed out and yellowish.
Went into the display settings and reset colours to default (Intel graphics media Accelerator driver for mobile). Now works great. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Prox Guest | Hi, I have the exact same problem. However I have an ATI HD 2600 XT and with the catalyst control center I’ve checked at the colors tab -> Collor correction on full screen 3d (Only options were either desktop or full screen 3d) Still this doesnt work. Anyone got a solution?

Cbolt Guest | I can confirm the problem being solved on ATI-cards (Radeon 9800 Pro) too. Their setup(using ATI catalyst) was under Graphics settings menu in Catalyst-> Video -> Basic Color. Same principle though. It was goddamn annoying so thanks for the hint. I’d really like to know what fuckes up the settings originally but happy to know there’s a way of fixing it.

Redrusty66 Guest | Am I glad I know how to research problems through google...I had this problem with my WinMedia and VLC player. I was having to watch everything in the DivX player (which worked fine for some reason). Happened after I installed a new G-Force FX 5700 card.
The “apply settings to all” fixed the problem for me too.
Thank you much...one more headache avoided!

bratevil Guest | Actually, it’s really easy to fix. In Media Player, go to Tool > Options > Performance >Advanced > unclick Use video mixer render.
I know this is a really old thread, but for others out there like me that were searching, it pops up at the top of google.
