ATI captured video won't play sound

I have an ATI All in Wonder 128 Rage. It works beautifully capturing tv, however on the playback, I have no audio. I have disabled windows audio, choosing to use the ati sound. It tells me “error downloading codecs”. What is my problem? If it’s an ID ten T error, I will accept that also!
