Corey Guest | Ive never been to these forums, but I was doing a google search to help answer my question. Im going to download my first DVD (from torrentspy.com) But I dont have a DVD Player on my computer. My first assumption is that DVD Players on computers are only needed to READ the DVD, but if the DVD is already read I can play it. So if I save it to my hard-drive, Ill be able to watch it without a DVD player (since its already on my computer, and doesnt need to be read by a laser anymore). This is just my theory and I really dont know If Im right or not. Can anyone help answer my question, and If I cant play DVDs on myold terrible peace of junk, is there another way?

labish Guest | If you download a dvd with your old computer is a big file about 4 Gb, my advice is try Xvid file all around 700 MB so a shorter time to download and you can watch it on your computer.Be sure to download players for Xvid like DivX VLC and BSplayer. Here is a link:http://www.free-codecs.com/ .Also is good to have any codec pack you like All in One is a lite one or mega pack as Ace or K-Lite.If you still want to watch a dvd (download for about a week on older computers) is no problem.Daemon Tools help you to play an image file or DVD players like Power DVD or so.For a good picture be sure to download the latest driver for your video card. Here is another link for more torrent sites:http://www.litezone.com/
