Hi there everyone. This is my first post here as I’m relatively new to this. Anyway, I got a torrent at the weekend called 24.S04E21.HDTV.XviD.REPACK-LOL. It has now finished downloading. The torrent just created a folder that looks like this:

http://student.dcu.ie/~dunnes24/lol.jpg

So the folder has an sfv file (to verify they’re all working, right?), an nfo file (doesn’t really do anything if I’m not mistaken) and then about 25 rar files, all numbered with the first being *.r00 right up to *.r23 and with one more being *.rar. They are almost all identical sizes and so what can I do to get them to play somewhere. I have what I believe to be the latest versions of DivX and XviD installed (though I may be wrong). Can I burn this episode onto a VCD or watch them on my computer in any way. I am on a PC running Windows XP. Any help or thoughts at all are appreciated. Thanks a lot, Nigel.

The ifo click right and open with Notepad is just a txt file about your download and the releaser. If you have WinRar the most popular decompressing tool open your folder where the zip file are select all from menu and extract to desktop is much easier so you can see it.Hdtv shows come like a Xvid format so after extraction you are going to have an avi file and you can play it with any of the players that work with Xvid (BSplayer,VLC or Videolan Client or media classic player or Dvix Player). All are included in any codec pack so download any pack you like and have fun. http://www.free-codecs.com/

Yup, thanks, that’s fine. The main rar file seems to use all the r01 r02 etc files to create one large avi when extracted.
