Reedie Guest | I downloaded a video file which is .wmv and when i try and open it up it says aquiring licence, it wont play on divX players, Winamp or anthing else. What does some1 recommend? i need a player which will play them. i have the latest Windows Media Player and Winamp

wheatln2 Guest | It sounds like wherever you got the files encoded them in such a way as to have them requring a license. I had a problem with trying to bring wma files from one PC to another. I think there are ways around the problem though, just I don’t know what they are.

Green_Arrow Guest | lol....try re-downloading it but from a diffrent source the one you downloaded was already flagged thats why it cant acquire a license, they already know that media file is pirated try to stick with mpg or m-peg or m-peg4, avi, and other things like that that doesn’t associate with microsoft

Mozaik Guest | i had this issue, open the file in Media Player, and it will acquire licence, you also need to make sure it opens in IE, get the licence, back it up and replay song in Winamp, and WALLAH!
