mkdinh Guest | Can someone please help me what FOURCC code '0' means? I am trying to view a movie file avi, but it keeps saying that the file that i’m trying to open contains the code that is not recogized by Divx. The code is Fourcc code '0'. Thanks a lot.

billyjobob Guest | Yup, the file is full of nothing but jazz. None of the codec info appliances will supply info, no divx or turbo players can play it, and if you look at the raw file, it’s full of empty space and a few ascii characters. We’ve all been rooked. If you see an .avi file that’s less than 150 megs then start wondering.
The good news: It doesn’t contain any viruses or worms as far as my antivirus could tell.

BIG FAT DUDE! Guest | I don’t know about “fake” files, I’m receiving this message when attempting to play an AVI which I converted from mpg with OE Video... which usually works well. Joiner/converter. Could this code possibly mean corrupted?
