jen Guest | Hi
I have a dvd recorder with a wedding recorded on it onto dvd-r, I have bought dvd ripping software from IMTOO, it kepps coming up with warning messages and the support guy doesn’t speak or type english very well, these are the problems I am having can anyone else help me please. It has a preview screen, shows all the video but comes up with these error messages at the end of one section, it completely skips out the church service, has before and after but not inside the church, I need to edit this for next weekend.
Warning
Warning VBV delay overflows=82
then
Warning
67 video underflows
then
Try adjusting padding start or max to avoid
then
or you can increase the mux rate or video_bitrate
then
The resulting file may not playback correctly.
All in separate boxes, I have gone into settings ans checked everything is set the same as in the help, I am doing them as Mpeg2’s on my laptop which is a Pentium 4 60gb hdd, 512mb ram, only 6 months old. It will get up to a certain point then come up with these warnings, it misses an entire part of the dvd I am trying to copy from. It is a DVD recorded on a Panasonic DVD recorder, of my Nieces wedding, it is on DVD-R.
thanks jen

labish Guest | First try to be clear about what you have and what you want to do.I understand you have a camcorder a video camera and you capture some clips from a wedding.I think you want to put this on dvd to watch it on a standalone dvd player.Correct me if I’m wrong. Before you reply download GSpot and Avicodec from this link.Install it and check your video file with.GSpot and Avicodec are video analysers so click right and open with and find out what you have and what you need.Avicodec has beside the detailes about your files 3 tabs called web click on one from video and download what the link says same thing for audio. If you can play the dvd-r and picture and sound are ok I don’t see any problem to convert it.Come again with more info. http://www.free-codecs.com/

Jen Guest | I had the wedding on Hi8 8mm video tape, I have put them on to DVD-R on my Panasonic DVD recorder, all of the video is on the DVD-R, it can be played on a DVD player, what I want to do is to edit the DVD-R so I can cut out any bits I don’t want in there, I want to edit using Windows Movie Maker. Because I used my DVD recorder apparently it is in a different format, I’m not sure which it is _TS? or something? I bought this IMTOO dvd ripper which keeps coming up with the errors above but because I have no idea what I am doing I don’t know how to fix it. It shows all of the video in the preview window but when I go to where it is saved to there is the first part before the church, and after the church nothing in the church. Please help me.
thanks
Jenny

labish Guest | Now I got the idea. Here is a link to a retail DVD Ripper from Ahead german stuff.Try it and see how is the “Porche” http://files.9down.com/Ahead.DVD.Ripper.v1.0.1.Incl.Keygen.rar .Also you may use DVD Decrypter a freeware and very popular here is another link :http://www.afterdawn.com/software/ On this site are some softwares for capturing video the way you did and you may connect your camera to the computer and start playing with the basic file.I’m not a show-off but my computer is the result of years of saving I think top of the line at this time and I have on it everythig for connecting a video cam tape or digital not to say anything of my video software collection. So my point is deal with what you have and good luck.
