Homeslice Guest | I have multiple .iso format dvd’s on my computer, But whenever I mount them and try to play (using VLC, wmp, Interactual DVD, etc.) It seems corrupted or tells me I have the wrong format. I tried using a cue and bin but Can’t seem to get that to work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

labish Guest | An iso file is an image file ready to be burnt on cd or dvd and any player won’t read this file.If you want to see it open the iso with MagicIso or WinIso or Ultra Iso and extract the video file from it.VideoLan is a good player and is going to play it.

Homeslice Guest | Alright, I have it opened with magic iso but how do I actually play this thing? The video ts folder has a bunch of video files, but not the whole thing.

Frig Guest | You can still watch it if you mount the image file in Daemon Tools or Alcohol. If the file does not play automatically you will have to open up a player and use the player to open the file in ur virtual drive.

Homeslice Guest | Yeah I have been able to do that before a few months ago, but now after I mount the iso it won’t play in any player what so ever. It will go through the warning screens then either be horribly corrupted and then stop all together, or tell me the disc isn’t formatted to play in this region. :/

labish Guest | Click rigt on the big file and “open with” your player.Be sure you extract the file not only open it.Inside the video ts is a big vob file and that’s your avi and an ifo and a small one so play with them.If you just open the iso you’re going to see the video and audio but won’t play.Extract the video ts or just the vob and play it.

Homeslice Guest | Same problem, vlc will perform an illegal op (I’ve re-installed with different versions too) avipreview will preform and illegal op, and interactual or wmp10 will say its wrongly formatted.

mats Guest | if you have correctly made the iso, u should be able to just drag n' drop your *.iso file right into VLC.
it works for me with 8.2
