wingnut977 Guest | i relized i should probably have this as a topic instead of leaching onto someone elses topic.
after downloading a few suggested codecs, i lost all sound on dvd’s streaming audio, everything. no errors, no problems, no bad hardware.. just silence
could the downloads have triggered something im not aware of?

labish Guest | I don’t know what codecs you put in your collection but I think a lot of them.Why you just uninstall all of them and make your sound card codecs free and be sure is working.On my computer all I have is an AC3 audio codec VideoLan Player BSplayer DivX Pro and All in One Codecs.With this I can watch any video file I like and I don’t have to use my Media Centre for it.Here you have a link to http://www.free-codecs.com/ better organized web site and some other http://avicodec.duby.info/
