Jiggly Jello Guest | Hey all! I converted video with the adaptec AVC-1100 and they are in the sp44 format so, maybe if you install the driver for the avc-1100 it would install necessary codecs???? Correct me if I am a complete idiot without a clue!!
The driver is available here!

JimmyD Guest | I have a small avi with SP54 codec (old girl friend undressing). Can someone covert it to something easier to play?

The... ermmm... content of the video is fairly irrelevant. Anyway, I wrote a fairly extensive article on SP54 here:
http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/9679p1.html
In the last paragraph I put a link to http://libland.fr.st/download.html, which contains an SP54 converter. Basically since SP54 is a modified version of MJPG, this program converts it to “standard” MJPG (ok there’s not really a standard, but it’s as close to that as you can get). MJPG can be played by all PC’s and Macs out there today. It’s a command-line utility, so if you need help running it, get back to this thread.
