hi everyone, i have been to many different sites to figure out wat codec i need and no one can help me out their solutions either dont work or are the wrong codec pls help me i am trying to view an AVI file that i downloaded. pls help b4 i through my computer out the window. thankyou

Nice guys around here eh?First install GSpot and find out what kind of avi you have and after this install some codecs you may need.Rendering with GSpot you may find out which player is going to work with.I use BSplayer and VLC player and the last one is working better.Find links on this site using search or wherever and download it.Here is the link for GSpot.: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ After this with the avi you have if you want to make a cd you have to convert it to the format you like.If is an iso file GSpot wont help you very much but you don’t sau much about it.

i tried gspot but the program keeps freezing the end of the program name says

Here is link for DivX Pro also go audio codecs from this site and install or reinstall AC3. http://www.9down.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1&min=30&orderby=titleA&show=10
