It up 2 ur standalone dvd player. Panasonic dvd player can only read n play DVD-R,DVD-RAM where LG can handle all xisting formats n the rest of the other makes, U can search google 4 it. If U wanna do some conversion with AVI file, then U can use this freeware.

The problem isn’t the divx or god knows what. Let me explain DVD play two formats - and +, Some play both and others play one. You recognize them by looking at your dvd, If it says DVD-ROM it’s a negative, If it says DVD+ROM it’s a positive and if its both put together usualy + on top of the - or sometimes -/+.

It’s currently took 1 hour on the program I’m using (aurora) and it’s only done about 10%!

i use either dvd shrink or cdburnerxp there both free in google search.it only takes max about 10 mins to burn a film to disc once you have the downloaded video ready to burn.

Try PowerISO to burn ISO’s

Super DVD creator to burn .avi’s .mkv’s .divx’s to dvd’s and DVD Shrink to fit them if they’re too big.

I have downloaded movie torrents and burned them to dvd-r. They however will not play on my home reg. dvd players. I have windows vista. I am new to pc use in general. Could someone please tell me what to do, to get these to play in a reg. dvd player? Laymans terms please! Links if possible. I am quite the beginner here and would appreciate anyone willing to help me. Thank-you in advance. Pleasant valley
